Colorado Rug & Fiber Quild Hook-in

Macaela and I drove to Denver for the Colorado Rug & Fiber Guild Hook-in.  It was a long drive, but we had a lot fun.  Macaela is a good navigator.  I didn't know that she could read maps.

Here we are with the hand dyed wools.

Here is a table displaying our Halloween Night Hooked Rug and Needle punch.
 Some more wool.
More wool.  I just love wool.  It is so soft and fun to work with.

Tonia won a ribbon for her bench.  I think she should bring her bench to my house.  I have a lighthouse room that it would go in.  She does great work.

I thought this pin was way cute, it was made out of wool.

I loved this.  The Gals from the New Mexico Guild made this.  It is a box, turned into a carrier.  Way cute.

Yes, I loved this too!  It is a carrier made out of an ice cream bucket.  These gals are super creative.

We had a lot of fun in Denver and it was nice meeting Cathy and Cheryl.  Wouldn't it be nice if I had a picture, but alas, I didn't think of that then.  Future tip for myself.  Take more pictures.

Booth at HMQS in Salt Lake City, Utah

I took a few pictures of my booth at HMQS.  We met a lot of people. It was a lot of fun.  I didn't get to see very much, because I went to Denver Friday afternoon.  My Mom, Aunt Marsha, and sister Vicki took care of the booth for me.  Thanks so much.  Mom is a great sales person.

I met Gina from Fresh Picked Fabrics and Cranberry Quiltworks.  Gina had some great quilts and patterns in her booth.  Gina won first prize for the best booth.  I know, I know.  I should have taken some pictures, but I didn't think about it then.  You can check out Gina's quilt shop at http://www.cranberryquiltworks.com/.

Also, I saw Nadine from Material Girls, and as usual she has cute quilts.  You can check out Nadine's shop at  http://www.thematerialgirlsquilting.com/

I met Barbara from Quilt Soup Patterns.  I just love her quilts.  You can check her quilts out at http://www.quiltsoup.com/

We had a lot of fun and time went quickly and we sold a lot of wool.  I talked to some rug hookers and some potential rug hookers.  Thanks to everyone that came and visited with us.

Butterfly Pillow

Look at the beautiful pillow that Linda made.  It is gorgeous!  She used as-is wool, hand dyed wool and embroidery floss.
