Rug Hooking Class

We had a rug hooking class Friday Evening. We talked about making patterns, hooking materials, frames, wool and how it looks when it is hooked, and some learned how to hook. We had 5 people that were trying rug hooking. It was a lot of fun. Thanks for coming. Hurry and finish those hearts before Valentine's Day. See you next month for a Rug Hooking get together.

Halloween Night

Well, I finally finished my Halloween Night. Seeing Sandy's completed made me want to finish mine. Mine has been hooked for over a year, just waiting for me to bind it. Amazingly it didn't take long to bind it. I don't know why I dread doing that. Oh well. Here it is. I just love it, and it looks good on my floor.

Sandy has completed our pattern "Halloween Night" (Whimsy Street Designs, sold through Wooly 4 Ewe). It is soooo cute! I hope that ya'll like it. Now I am going to have to finish mine. Thanks for working so hard on it Sandy.

Utah Hook-In

The Hook-In was on Saturday and it was a lot of fun. The rugs that everyone brought were just beautiful. We learned about felting and Angela gave a class on dyeing and presented her dye book. She has some wonderful colors. I have ordered a felting book, because the felted items that were shown were beautiful and it made me want to learn how to felt. Have a beautiful fall day.
